Summary
Lead the planning, implementation and delivery of the equipment workstream of capital projects. Develop and manage detailed project plans for the equipment workstream, including timelines, milestones and resource allocation ensuring alignment with Trust goals. Monitor and report on the progress of projects equipment workstreams, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful outcome. Oversee the lifecycle management of clinical equipment including planning and co-ordinating the replacement of outdated or high-risk devices. Work closely with clinical teams to prioritise equipment replacements based on clinical needs, safety and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with other stakeholders such as Estates and Facilities to ensure a comprehensive approach. Facilitate regular equipment project meetings, providing updates and resolving any issues that arise. Collaborate with clinical staff, department heads and other stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure project objectives are met. Ensure continuous oversight and daily monitoring of the CERP. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and other external partners, negotiating terms and ensuring quality standards are met. Deliver updates and detailed information to the Capital and Estates Committee as needed.
