Summary

RPS is currently seeking Senior Engineering Technician to join our Building Engineering team based in our London office with flexible working arrangements.

Digitalisation is at the core of our delivery model allowing our clients and their stakeholders to really experience our designs right from project concept stage and through drawing on expertise spanning decades, industries and disciplines, we assist clients to harmonise design drivers through inspired engineering, architecture and development services.

What you’ll be doing:

This is an exciting role for an individual looking to progress their career as a Senior Technician within our industry leading team where we have an excellent reputation, offering a wealth of expertise in various sectors of the built environment. You will also:

Be involved with a range of projects including sustainable energy, commercial, residential, industrial and infrastructure where you will produce, and assist in Civil and Structural Engineering design modelling and drawing in accordance with the project requirements
Supporting the Principal / Associate in the technical delivery of projects
Conducting activities and producing outputs in line with relevant legislation and industry standards
Completing designs based on guidance from Line Manager, applying sound technical knowledge relevant to the role
Civil and Structural Engineering Revit and AutoCAD design modelling and drawing
Team document control and distribution
Who we’re looking for

Experience with working as a Revit Technician within the built environment
Be proficient in the use of technical software relevant to the design discipline
Have a relevant HND qualification or a minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience. Ideally have a professional qualification – Eng Tech.
Be experienced in using Microsoft Office Software
Good verbal and written communication skills
Have great organisational skills to manage own deadlines and competing priorities
Be motivated with initiative and comfortable with autonomy with an appetite to drive innovation
Must be a team player
