A leading local employer with exciting growth plans, my client is seeking an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join their expanding accounts team in Felixstowe, Suffolk.
Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this is a varied role supporting with a range of management accounting, financial analysis and bookkeeping tasks, including accruals & prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, assisting with budget preparation, supporting with year-end and group reporting requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have experience of supporting with month-end reporting and analytical duties, with a commercially astute outlook. Strong analytical and Excel skills will be essential, alongside a proactive and positive approach to system review and improvement.
