Summary
(Maternity Cover) | 37.5 hours per week (With 2 late shifts) | £12.59 per hour | Fixed term contract until June 2026 | Base: YMCA Green Lane, Walsall, WS2 8HE
The role will include but will not be limited to:
• Engaging with young people identifying their passions, personal needs, and aspirations and helping to remove any barriers which prevents them achieving their full potential.
• Conducting interviews with applicants, performing the appropriate needs and risk assessments and reference checks before offering accommodation.
• Ensuring minimal vacancies by promptly arranging cleaning and preparing flats to be re-let as quickly as possible.
• Visiting properties as agreed, to ensure safety, overall good condition, and residents’ adherence to the licence agreement.
The ideal candidate will be computer literate, approachable and interested in young people. You'll need to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a commitment to delivering quality housing services. Excellent communication skills are a must, as you'll collaborate effectively with a diverse range of agencies.
