Summary
Norbury School would like to appoint an outstanding Kitchen Porter to work in the kitchen.
We are looking for:
• People with a caring attitude who enjoy working and engaging with pupils;
• The ability to work as part of a team and to want to be the best at what you do;
• Individuals who are physically fit and able to carry out heavy lifting; this includes
assembling/disassembling dining tables, and taking delivery of heavy boxes of foodstuffs as required (including counting and checking off delivered items, matching them to delivery notes and storing them appropriately);
• A willingness to undertake Food Hygiene and Manual Handling Training for working in a commercial kitchen, and other safeguarding/relevant training for working in a school.
