Summary
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to work for our superb client in Harrogate.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Payroll Officer will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency so every employee gets paid correctly and in a timely manner. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of payroll principles, and exceptional attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll administration and excellent communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience as Payroll Officer/ Assistant
In-depth knowledge of payroll processes
Great attention to detail and able to maintain high level of accuracy in their work
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient Excel skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
This is a 5 - 6 month contract that could be extended and our client can offer flexiblity around working hours / days. Ideally this role would be 3 days per week but this could be split to accommodate school hours across 5 days.
£35,000 pro rata
