Summary

An esteemed insurance brokerage in Leicester is seeking a dynamic and commercially astute Branch Director to lead its well-established corporate team. This role is ideal for a seasoned insurance professional with a proven track record in leadership and business development, ready to drive growth and uphold exceptional client service standards.

You will be responsible for steering a team of experienced account executives, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. The team itself is strong and self-sufficient, so this is not a hands-on management or mentoring role as they don’t need looking after. What they do need is a leader with the ability to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities, ideally bringing a book of business or a strong network of introducers. You’ll be expected to develop and implement strategies to enhance branch performance while also maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and retention.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in leading high performing teams within the insurance sector, as well as a first class approach to client relationship management. You’ll be commercially minded, strategic in your thinking, and comfortable getting down into the trenches when needed, someone who leads by example with a soft but confident approach.
