Ideal location South West based. Full Time, Permanent
Circa £39,000 per annum, plus overtime paid at time and a half
Company Van, Phone, Laptop, Tools over 32mm
We are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer for a global market leader within plant equipment manufacturing and servicing. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be attending pre-planned appointments but also fault diagnosing whilst out in the field.
THE ROLE
Attending customer sites to service and repair equipment
Testing and carry out fault diagnosis
Speaking with customers and professionally representing the business
Actively planning the service schedule whilst communicating with the team
Updating service records/logging faults using bespoke software
Following strict Health and Safety procedures
Keeping on top of van stock levels
As a Field Service Engineer you must have a positive attitude and be keen to gain new skills and undertake ongoing training.
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal Field Service Engineer will be able to possess the following attributes:
NVQ Level 3 Mechanical/Plant Maintenance
Quarry Passport – desirable
CSCS card
Strong customer service skills
Happy to travel UK wide with some overnight stays
Knowledge of large mobile plant equipment is essential
Driving license
