Summary
Job Title: 7.5 Tonne Driver - Immediate Start
Location: Great Ellingham
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Salary: £13 - £15 per hour (DOE)
We are currently seeking an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our Client's Distribution team for an immediate start. In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently to various locations, providing excellent customer service, and supporting general depot duties as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load, drive, and unload goods in line with company and legal standards
- Accurately complete delivery records and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety
- Use route planning tools and IT systems for efficient delivery
- Act as a professional representative of the company at all times
- Operate forklift trucks (if licensed)
- Support depot operations when required
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle
- Valid CPC and Tachograph card
- ADR licence is preferred but not essential
- Forklift licence (desirable)
- Customer-focused, reliable, and professional attitude
- Knowledge of local routes and basic IT skills
