Pay Rate: £13.54 Per Hour (£50 Per Sleep In Shift)
Hours: Part-Time, 16 hours per week (Includes Sleep-In Shift)
Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence (Auto Friendly)

Are you enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate about making a difference? We have an exciting opportunity for a Male Support Worker to join our team in Nottingham!

Who Will You Be Supporting?

You will be supporting a wonderful individual in his 30s with autism. He enjoys a variety of activities and has a keen interest in cooking from scratch, snooker, eating out, and social media. He loves visiting the city centre, going to the cinema, and watching home movies. His family is very involved in his care.

What Will You Be Doing?

Each day will be different, but you will be supporting with:

- Encouragement: Providing support and encouragement in daily activities.

- Community Support: Offering 1:1 support when out in the community.

- Meal Preparation: Preparing meals and supporting with dietary needs.

- Medication Administration: Ensuring he receives his medication as prescribed.

- Household Tasks: Assisting with housework, shopping, cooking, budgeting, and attending hospital/GP appointments.

- Emotional Support: Providing reassurance and managing behaviours positively.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, upbeat, compassionate, and kind. You should be:

- Experienced with Autism: Comfortable working with individuals with autism.

- Strong Communicator: Able to provide clear and confident communication.

- Positive and Resilient: Capable of seeing the positives and coping in a dynamic environment.

- Organised and Time-Managed: Efficient in managing tasks and time.

- Friendly and Outgoing: Enjoys engaging in various activities and outings.

- Keen in the Kitchen: Enjoys cooking and helping with meal preparation.

- Honest and Open: Able to build positive relationships with internal and external professionals.

Shift Patterns:

Flexible Across the Week:

- 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM

- Sleep-Ins: 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM

- Rotas are provided in advance to support a healthy work-life balance.
