Are you a passionate and experienced mental health professional looking for a challenging and rewarding role?
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) to join our innovative and forward-thinking CYPMH Multi-Agency Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals, providing exceptional care to young people with complex mental health needs.


**We offer a relocation package of up to £8,000**

What you'll be doing:
• Clinical Practice: Assessing, diagnosing, and managing a diverse range of mental health conditions in young people.
• Prescribing: Independently prescribing medications within your scope of practice, ensuring safe and effective treatment.
• Collaboration: Working closely with colleagues in Specialist Eating Disorder Services and First Episode Psychosis teams to provide seamless care.
• Supervision and Mentorship: Supporting, supervising, and mentoring junior staff members, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Training and Development: Actively participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Service Improvement: Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of our services.
What we're looking for:
• Essential:
• NMC registration as a mental health nurse
• Independent prescribing qualification
• Significant experience in mental health nursing
• Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Desirable:
• Experience working with young people
• Knowledge of specialist eating disorders or first episode psychosis
• Leadership and management experience
