Summary

Looking for a new role where you can make a difference to people and their
communities? We have an exciting opportunity to join our Neighbourhood Team
as a Neighbourhood Coordinator.

You’ll work in our communities most of the time, travelling around to do estate
inspections and visiting residents in their homes. This is an active and people focused role, providing an excellent service to our residents and making sure they
sustain healthy tenancies with us.

This role involves collaborative teamwork, proactive engagement with residents,
and administrative responsibilities to uphold the values and standards of
United Welsh.

Essential
• Experience of working in social housing or a related sector; supporting a variety of people from different backgrounds and with different needs
• Confident self-starter with a calm and flexible attitude, responsive to meet the needs of the team and the business
• Full driving licence and access to transport for business purposes
• Competent using Microsoft Office packages, with strong numerical and written skills
• Competent and committed to the delivery of exceptional customer service, treating all customers with equally high standards of respect, dignity and compassion
• Ability to make reasoned judgements and decisions
• Ability to meet work objectives through excellent prioritisation, organisation and time management skills
• Contributes and collaborates positively to team, wider-business and external partner relationships and development
• Committed to continued professional development and capable and willing to undertake training and study as required by the post

Desirable Criteria
• Experience in Social Housing Management
• Ability to confidently communicate in Welsh - written, conversational, and reading
• Experience of restorative practice
• Experience using IBS Housing Management system
• Industry recognised housing / health / social or youth and community qualification at level 4 or above
• Experience of trauma-informed practice.
• Current knowledge of Welsh housing legislation and housing policy.
