Summary
Night Co-Ordinator
The Night Co-ordinator role is pivotal in ensuring the safe and effective operation of the hospital during the night shift.
The Night Co-ordinator will oversee the night-time coordination of all services, ensuring optimal staffing, high standard patient care and correct allocation of the resources.
The Night Co-ordinator will be a highly visible role model and mentor to the nursing team, providing presence and support where it is required: overseeing the management of critical incidents, supporting with responses to out-of-hours referrals and ensuring compliance with all hospital policies and procedures.
A key part of the role is providing leadership and support to the nursing and support staff, ensuring a collaborative, patient-centred approach to care at all times.
The Night Co-ordinator will be expected to demonstrate strong decision-making skills, maintaining the highest standards of clinical governance and patient safety during the night shift.
Essential for this role:
Must be qualified RMN or RNLD, registered with NMC.
Experience working as a Nurse in a similar environment.
