Summary

We are seeking a hands-on marketing professional, who is highly skilled and motivated to join the councils bereavement and civil registration team, to promote and market our services.
This role requires an individual who can effectively manage multiple projects, communicate clearly with stakeholders and monitor market trends to drive successful campaigns.
The Bereavement Services and Registration of births, deaths, and marriage service have a range of services to promote to our customers. If you have a strong creative flair with the ability to produce engaging visual, and written content that connects with and captivates an audience, we would love to hear from you.
Working closely with the council’s corporate media and marketing team, the post holder will be responsible for creating and delivering a marketing strategy, which will include the maintenance of website content, social media channels and campaigns.
You will need to demonstrate experience in marketing and media relations, PR and communications. The ability to analyse data to inform marketing strategies, excellent communication skills and the ability to present and adapt media and campaign material for differing audiences, are all essential qualities required for this role.
This position is Fixed Term for two years.
