Summary
If you have excellent financial, administration, committee, social media and marketing experience in a local authority or similar environment, ideally understand local government financial systems and procedures, accounts, payroll, budget setting and monitoring, risk management and controls, this post is ideal.
You will assist the Parish Clerk to the Council in the effective and proper management and control of the Council’s financial affairs by maintaining proper financial systems, records and controls, preparing and monitoring the Council’s budgets, ensuring that the Council complies with all the requirements of Internal and External Audit, managing all aspects of insurance, the asset register, supporting working groups and reporting to the Parish Clerk.
Highly motivated and a good team player as well as being able to work independently, you will bring excellent numerical, analytical, communication, IT and interpersonal skills, have a flexible approach to working.
We offer excellent nationally based terms and conditions of employment for this post which may involve occasional evening meeting attendance and weekends.
