Summary
Our client is currently looking for a permanent Process Engineer to work for a local company based in Corby.
Hours are Monday to Thursday 08.00-16.30pm and Friday 08.00-13.30pm.
Responsible to: The Technical Manager
Responsible for: activities as directed by the Technical Manager and Production Manager.
The Role: To assist in technical engineering support
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Process Engineer located in Corby. The Process Engineer will be responsible for process design, process control, utilizing analytical skills, improving yields in day-to-day tasks.
Qualifications
•Process Design and Process Engineering skills.
•Analytical Skills.
•Process Control.
•Strong problem-solving abilities.
•Ability to work in a team and independently.
•Experience in ceramics industry is a plus.
Degree in Engineering or related field is a plus.
All the processes within the company.
Day to day operations
Monitor continuous improvement methods for product and processes.
Data analysis on statistical process control using process Minitab software.
Monitor Product processing routes and associated equipment.
generate engineering concepts including Engineering Change Control.
Document and record entry & control
Help generate SOP’s for production activities and have a clear understanding of the content and consequences of interpretation of criteria for customers
Data analysis
AS9100 QA system and company QC criteria.
FMEA
3D CAD drawings
The Engineer must be familiar with:
JD pro. eng. Rev1
All the processes within the company.
SOP’s for production activities and have a clear understanding of the content and consequences of interpretation of criteria
Data analysis
Continuous improvement methods for products and processes.
AS9100 QA system and company QC criteria.
FMEA
Statistical Process Control (QDAS software, Minitab)
3D CAD drawings
Product processing routes and associated equipment.
Basic engineering concepts including Engineering Change Control.
Document and record entry and control.
