Summary
Our client based in East Kilbride are looking for experienced Embroidery Operatives to join their team. You will be responsible for operating machinery, quality control, and communicating with warehouse and other team members. We have immediate starts and this will be on a 12 week temp to perm contract.
Candidates must have recent experience in this sector.
Responsibilities
Maintaining machinery daily and keeping a record
Check off stock and prepare orders to go onto the machines ensuring it corresponds with internal paperwork
Setting up the machine with the correct threads and sampling
Preparing the frames to match the customers specification
Trim and pack finished embroidered garments
Highlight any issues with stock shortages at the earliest opportunity
Manage any consumables required for producing garments
Accuracy and strong attention to detail
Qualifications
Experience in machine operation and quality control
Knowledge of embroidery is required.
Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Hours - Mon to Fri – 0900 to 1700.
Pay Rate - Starting at £12.21, however the client is willing to pay up to £15 p/h DOE.
Due to the location of the position, candidates must have their own transport.
