Family is looking for carers who can support an older gentleman in the Bellingham area. They are looking to recruit a team of carers to support him in within the family home. The gentleman has a diagnosis of Motor Neuron disease (MND) hypertension, and his mobility has reduced so he is at risk of falls. The gentleman enjoys watching tv and enjoys watching Rugby and rowing. He also loves to listen to classical music.
Hours of work: 22 hrs per week include day, evening and weekends calls 3 times a day 7 days a week.

Rates of Pay: £13.74 per hour
Location: Bellingham area
Main Duties: To support with hoist transfers in/out of bed or positional changes, personal hygiene, continence care also support with shower while helping to reduce the risk of falls. Also, to be flexible and support with cover, for holidays and sickness leave.

- Ability to both take instructions and use own initiative.
- Experience in health & social care desirable – experience in working with people with both physical and mental health needs Respect confidentiality is a must
Training: Where it is required, such as in Health and Safety matters, practical training and guidance will be arranged, and the care worker will be expected to attend. This will include moving and handling, medication awareness and additional training specific to the client.
