Summary
Title: LGV Cat C (Class 2) Driver / Class 2 Driver The Best Connection are seeking to recruit HGV Class 2 (LGV C) Drivers to work with their client in Wetherby. Our client is global logistics and transportation company and will be delivering kitchens to construction sites and private customers. They have a requirement for a day drivers to support them on an ad hoc basis with ongoing work available.
An induction and driving assessment will be required
The role: Deliver kitchens across the UK You will be driving Rigid / Wagon and Drag for this role Lift and carry kitchen goods to sites and customers so you must be able to lift heavy loads safely Use scanners to confirm deliveries to customer sites. The candidate: Full LGV C Digi card and up to date CPC No more than 6 points on your licence with no DD, DR or IN Endorsements Minimum of 6 months commercial driving experience Hours of work: Start time is 06:00am Monday to Friday Pay Rates (PAYE): £16.50 per hour Drivers will be paid an additional £0.45 per mile as mileage if you are located outside of the chatchment area Benefits of working with The Best Connection Excellent pay rates 24/7 contact with consultants Pension Contributions Online payslips Holiday accrual Personal accident insurance Ongoing assignments Suitable candidates will be invited to register online
