Deputy Nurse Manager
Salary: £48,000
40 hours per week, mixture of supernumerary and clinical hours
Our client, a well-respected provider of high-quality care, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Deputy Nurse Manager to join their team in a beautifully appointed, small care home for older adults with nursing and dementia care needs. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) offering a balance of supernumerary and clinical hours, perfect for a nurse looking to take the next step in their leadership journey while staying hands-on with clinical care. The Deputy Manager will support the Home Manager in day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest standards of nursing and person-centred care are maintained.
What We’re Looking For
- Nurse-qualified (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC pin
- Previous experience in a leadership or senior nursing role
- Strong knowledge of dementia care and person-centred approaches
- Excellent communication and team-building skills

Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the nursing and care team
- Support with care planning, audits, and compliance activities
- Champion best practices in dementia and elderly care
- Act as a mentor and role model to junior staff
- Step in for the Home Manager as needed to maintain smooth operations
