Summary

We are looking for a Senior Social Worker to join a Family Support and Protection Team

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in permanent contract/s.

About the Team

The team works as a multi-disciplinary service to support children in need and child protection families. This role will be supporting and mentoring up to 12 AYSE Social Workers. They will be supporting the AYSE'S in assessment and planning, completing direct observations and report writing. Delivering bespoke training, performance management and working closely with the Workforce Development is key to the success of this role.

About you

A degree within Social Work (Degree/ DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years post qualified work experience is required. Highly experienced in working with children and families throughout their social care journey, including, assessing, planning, Child Protection work and care proceedings. Experience required in supporting ASYE'S in the workplace and or hold Practice Educator status.
