What you need to know about the role...

This is a pivotal leadership role at the heart of our digital trading engine. You'll lead our paid media strategy across digital and offline channels - from PPC, paid social, and YouTube to TV, radio, and OOH - ensuring we reach, engage, and convert new members at every stage of the funnel.

You'll shape our acquisition trading strategy as part of the wider Commercial & Marketing senior team, collaborating closely with eCommerce, CRM, analytics, brand, and creative leads. Whether supporting new gym openings, optimising regional campaigns, or maximising core trading performance, your focus will be on impact, performance, and growth.

You'll work closely with our agency and platform partners to plan, execute and optimise campaigns - using data, test-and-learn frameworks, and strong commercial instincts to deliver results.

About you...

We're after a commercially-savvy media leader with a passion for performance. You'll need:
  • 8-10+ years' experience in digital acquisition and performance marketing, ideally in fast-paced, direct-to-consumer environments
  • Deep understanding of subscription-based trading models and metrics like CPA, ROAS, LTV, churn, and conversion
  • A track record of owning media strategies and budgets across paid search, social, affiliates, and ATL channels
  • Proven ability to extract actionable insights from complex data - and use them to drive smart decisions
  • Strong cross-functional skills, able to work across creative, tech, pricing, and commercial teams to deliver integrated campaigns
  • Curiosity, ambition, and a test-and-learn mindset - always looking for what's next


Additionally, the following would be an advantage...
  • Experience with platforms like Google Ads, Meta, DV360, Smartly, GA4, and affiliate networks (e.g. CJ, AWIN)
  • Familiarity with media mix modelling, attribution techniques, and incrementality testing
  • Comfortable managing complex agency relationships and multi-million-pound budgets
