Summary

Job Title: Site Co-ordinator
Location: Pensilva, near Liskeard
Working Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum

About the Role

Our client, a respected construction company that is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Site Co-ordinator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the construction industry who can manage logistics, scheduling, and coordination in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects stay on track by managing the delivery and scheduling of materials and equipment, maintaining clear communication with all parties involved, and supporting smooth site operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Contracts Manager in planning and scheduling timber frame construction projects


  • Coordinate communication and logistics with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers


  • Organise and monitor delivery of timber frame panels, loose materials, and mechanical lifting equipment


  • Keep live project whiteboards and records up to date with any schedule changes


  • Adjust schedules based on weather and site conditions, while maintaining tight project timelines


  • Communicate updates effectively to all relevant parties


  • Track delivery quality and highlight supply chain issues where needed


  • Maintain accurate documentation including hire contracts, change orders, and purchase logs


    Requirements

    • Previous experience in construction coordination or a similar role


    • Strong understanding of project scheduling and supply chain processes


    • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills


    • Clear and professional communication skills, particularly by phone


    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)


    • High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities


    • Able to stay calm and focused under pressure


    • Willingness to seek support and collaborate when needed


    • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
