Summary


Applications are invited for a Junior Clinical Fellow (FY2, FY3 or CMT level) in RenalMedicine andTransplantation.

The post will suit applicants who wish to gain experience inRenalMedicine.

In this position the appointee will be exposed to all aspects renal medicine, including renal replacement therapy (haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, renal transplantation), acute kidney injury and various sub-specialities within the field of nephrology.



During your time in the unit we would aim to provide you with a broad experience in the basics of nephrology and the opportunity to develop this further if you wish. This will be through your routine work on the wards and on-call, formal teaching, regular attendance at the unit academic meetings, and participation in journal club, as well as through opportunity to attend specialist clinics.

Renal medicine is a demanding specialty and our patients are often complex and sick. The wards and the on calls are busy but we have a strong team ethos and work together to achieve the best for our patients. We ensure you are well supported at all times and that clinical and educational supervision is of a high standard.
