This position is supporting a female in the Mansfield area of NOTTINGHAM.
Our client is a lady who requires 10 hour’s day time support at home. With a family of 4 including two young boys the home environment is busy and full of fun and laughs, but also needs to be calm and quiet when appropriate. The main focus of your role will be to provide 1-2-1 support, complete a range of household tasks, and coordinate and support with family activities with the boys both within the home environment and on days out. You will also support with accessing the community, going to the cinema and attending appointments. You will help navigate an electric wheel chair and keep our client safe while in the community. You will be joining a team of two Health Care Assistants, support ranges from everyday living tasks such as personal care, medication, feeding, using both cough assist and a ventilator machines, alongside the house hold tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal planning and preparation for the family and on a daily basis coordinating the children’s activities such as baking, jigsaws, arts and crafts.
Rosekel are looking to recruit a female Personal Assistant with bubbly personality and loads of energy. You must enjoy children’s activities, along with having a range of busy and chill times throughout your shift. Knowledge or an understanding of Muscular Dystrophy would be an advantage. You must demonstrate initiative, confidence, professional boundaries and promote healthy eating. If you have 3 years’ plus experience within either a care or childcare environment it would be an advantage. The role offer is 20 permanent contracted hours per week, with additional hours being offered during periods of holiday and sick leave. Health Care Training will be provided for the appointable candidate, including Emergency First Aid, Cough Assist and Ventilator.
Working Hours 10 hour shifts on a Thursday and Friday 7am to 6pm with one hour for lunch
