As a Care Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in our residents’ day-to-day lives—helping them start their mornings with compassion and confidence.
About Towy Castle
Set in three acres of beautiful grounds with views over the Towy estuary, Towy Castle is a 61-bed care home offering residential and dementia care. Originally built as a grand mansion in the 18th and 19th centuries, the home is now a place of comfort, community, and dedicated support tailored to every individual’s needs.

Your Role
Assist residents with personal care such as washing, dressing, and morning routines
Support with mobility and help residents prepare for their day
Provide companionship and emotional reassurance
Monitor and report on residents’ well-being
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment

Skills & Experience
Prior care experience is welcome but not essential—full training will be provided
Strong communication skills and a willingness to follow care plans
Basic understanding of safeguarding, health & safety, and confidentiality
Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as part of a rota
Shift & Pay Details
Hours: 24.5 hours per week, 7:00 AM – 14:00 PM
Shift Pattern: Rolling rota (including weekend and public holiday cover)
Pay: £12.60 per hour
