Summary
The role is integral to the development of Targeted Early Help in Sutton. It's purpose is to promote and build relationships with partners in the Early Help System in Sutton. You will oversee successful delivery and developments in the community and Family Hubs.
From strong relationships with partners to ensure we are able to work together to achieve positive outcomes for families
Have a presence at the Family Hubs in Sutton to support development and referrals into the Targeted Early Help Service
Triage referrals through the front door for Targeted Early Help Service, this includes talking to families and referring agencies to apply appropriate threshold decisions in order to make appropriate recommendations
Promote the Helping Early panel to all agencies in Sutton and ensure the smooth running of each panel, this will include retaining clear records from each panel
Each day you find yourself talking to different agencies, families and team members to develop the service and consider what may be best for families
About you
We are looking for someone who enjoys networking and building positive relationships with services working with Young People. You will need to understand what positive outcomes look like for families, children and young people alongside a good understanding or Early Help Systems.
We need you to be curious as this role will use databases and information to present evidence that positive outcomes have been achieved as a result of work across the Early Help partnership.
You will support development and promotion of the Targeted Early Help Service and so need to be innovative and creative in your approach. You must be confident in talking to partners to understand their needs in order to form strong working relationships.
This role will involve holding some sensitive and challenging conversations with families and so you must have good listening skills and an empathetic approach.

The Targeted Early Help Service works intensively with families to prevent their level of need increasing to the point where they required a statutory response from Children's Social Care.
We work in a multi agency context as the lead professional completing assessments and leading on plans to address identified needs.
Referrals for this service are received via Children's Social front door and come from any professional agency working in Sutton.
