Role Overview:
This Leeds School is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behaviour Support Worker to join their
team. The successful candidate will work closely with pupils, teachers, and parents to support positive
behaviour and emotional well-being, ensuring all students have the opportunity to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:
● Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEMH needs.
● Develop and implement behaviour management plans in collaboration with teachers and
parents.
● Monitor and record students progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
● Foster positive relationships with students, promoting self-esteem and resilience.
● Assist in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
● Support teachers in managing classroom behaviour and implementing positive behaviour
strategies.
● Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing updates on students progress and
well-being.
● Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:
● Previous experience working with children in an educational or support setting.
● A relevant qualification in education, child development or a related field.
● Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and techniques.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
● Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting childrens well-being.
● Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
