Summary
The Best Connection have a brand new job opportunity available based in Storrington, West Sussex for a Production Operative on a temporary to permanent basis. We are looking for a dependable and hardworking individual who enjoys manual, hands on roles with an element of working outdoors.
Forklift license is to your advantage.
The successful candidate will be physically fit with good stamina due to the nature of the role and have production/machinery experience.
Site specific training will be provided by the client. Due to the location of the site, applicants must have their own transport.
Production duties include:
Changeover and prepare machines for production
Carry out various machinery operations
Ensure optimum production targets, minimum waste and the highest levels of consistent quality are achieved
Ensure safe working at all times with a right first time every time by everyone attitude to produce a cost effective, quality product
Undertaking yard duties in all weather, lifting and shifting, maintain the yard area etc.
Using a Forklift to lift heavy objects
Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.00pm (5.00pm during peak period paid at time and a half)
Pay: £12.21 per hour
