Hybrid: Stopford House, visiting settings and schools as needed and homeworking to suit to service needs

Your Role
The post-holder will work as part of the School Effectiveness Service to deliver Stockport’s strategic outcomes in our Early Years settings and schools. The post-holder will lead and manage our very experienced Early Years Improvement Team, work alongside our Startwell teams as part of our integrated Stockport Family model and liaise with GM counterparts.
About You
You will be an experienced Early Years Practitioner who has a clear understanding of high quality provision. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, clear strategic thinking and ambition. You will embrace change and have the relevant leadership skills to work with colleagues to secure and maintain high quality inclusive practice across Stockport, where all children succeed and settings are well supported.

The School Effectiveness Service is a large team of colleagues who work across Stockport to secure good educational outcomes. Individual teams within the service have considerable expertise which we draw upon to meet the challenges faced by schools and settings. Professional respect sits at the heart of our work and we provide a high level of support for our colleagues. Our Early Years Improvement Team is made up of a very knowledgeable, experienced team who are keen to work with a new leader to drive the agenda forward.
