Summary

Qualified Dispenser with experience in use of Omnicell VBM dosette robot | Haddenham, Ely | Full Time | Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 6:15 pm (Thursdays off), Saturdays on rota (9:00 am – 12:00 pm, 1 in 2) | From £13.25 per hour depending on experience

An exciting opportunity has become available to join our client’s pharmacy team based in Haddenham, Ely. They are expanding and looking for additional support in both their dispensary and medicine counter at their village-based pharmacy. While they already have a skilled team of experts, they’re eager to welcome new team members who share the same passion for providing excellent service and support to the community.

Please note- You may be required to work in the dispensary and on the medicines counter as part of your weekly routine. This will be discussed at the interview.

Are you the right person for the job?

• NVQ2 Pharmacy Dispenser qualification is required and must be competent in sales of medicines
• Experienced with Omnicell VBM robot to produce MDS trays
• Proficient with ProScript
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmacy
• Strong communication and excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team

What will your role look like?

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and health and safety measures
• Dispense and label prescriptions (both electronic and paper)
• Order stock for prescriptions and manage stock control
• Handle customer and queries from healthcare professionals via phone and emails
• Record all patient interventions and maintain patient PMR
• Operate the Omnicell VBM Robot to manage assembly of MDS trays
• Reorder sundries for MDS and dispensary so ensuring smooth workflow coordination
• Contribute to the delivery of pharmacy services (training provided)
• Support the pharmacist in maintaining the controlled drug register and comply with legal requirements
• Assist in maintaining high cleaning standards and date checking
• Help with signposting, health promotion, and offering patient advice
