Summary

Main Duties and Responsibilities To work as a member of the clinical team To create and maintain effective working relationships within the Team and elsewhere. Provide a triage assessment to clients predominantly entering our Alliance Plus pathway. To provide support to the people who use our services whilst waiting to begin treatment including maintaining regular contact and providing information on other sources of help. To offer advice and support to other members of the wider team, including GPs and other Health Professionals, on mental health issues, and in relation to appropriate referral pathways for patients with mental health needs. To liaise effectively with Secondary Care and voluntary sector organisations and services. To attend meetings and provide reports as required. To assist in the development and promotion of the service. To provide a range of therapeutic interventions and support To assist with assessment and support, including risk assessment, of clients referred to the service across all pathways within the various settings and contracts delivered by Alliance Plus. To assist with the delivery of a range of appropriate therapeutic interventions in collaboration with the client including groupwork and digital therapies. To offer a range of resources, signposting, and information. To work within an appropriate time framework. To make appropriate onward referrals following assessment for clients requiring other services, including statutory and voluntary agencies. To maintain clients confidentiality within agreed guidelines. To support the development of the Referral to Treatment team and pathway To assist in induction and ongoing training of new staff joining the team. To contribute to continual improvement of the Referral to Treatment pathway. To contribute to ongoing service development and achievement of service targets. Safeguarding Responsible for safeguarding children and vulnerable adults by always promoting the welfare of service users and operating within local policies and procedures. Under guidance and support, taking appropriate safeguarding action to protect children and vulnerable adults at risk of significant harm. Under guidance and supervision to identify and support families in accessing Early Help Services. To share appropriate information with other agencies regarding the service users wellbeing and progress keeping within the boundaries of confidentiality and Information sharing protocols. To provide a professional and ethical service To maintain appropriate records including all required assessment and evaluation tools. To undertake relevant Continuing Professional Development activities both as required for the purposes of continued professional accreditation or registration and as identified through Alliances Professional Development and Appraisal System. To undertake an appropriate amount of clinical supervision from a qualified Clinical Supervisor within Alliances Supervision Programme. To operate within agreed NHS, Impact and professional guidelines and Codes of Practice. To ensure a safe and secure working environment for self and others and to act as necessary within Health and Safety and other guidelines. To promote and value the rights, responsibilities and diversity of people using the Service. Confidentiality In the performance of their duties, the post-holder may have access to confidential information relating to clients and their care, staff, and others. They may also have access to information relating to Impact as a business organisation. All such information from any source is to be regarded as strictly confidential. Information relating to clients, carers, staff, other healthcare workers or Impact business may only be divulged to authorised persons in accordance with Alliances policies and procedures relating to confidentiality and the protection of personal and sensitive data.
