Summary
PLEASE REFER TO THE ATTACHED JOB DESCRIPTION FOR FULL DUTIES OF THE ROLE. The post involves the provision of an all-age audiology service across the Trust, working as part of a multidisciplinary team. This includes the assessment and rehabilitation of a caseload of patients with hearing and balance difficulties, including some with direct access. Work may be of a specialised nature requiring advanced skills and a high degree of responsibility and autonomy (including provision of off-site clinics). The requirements of the post will also include the provision of a managerial function within the service, and clinical supervision of junior and trainee staff. The post holder will work with the Head of Service and senior team to ensure that clinical and professional standards are maintained at all times.
