Summary
Sewing Machine Technician, we are looking for an experienced sewing machine repair technican to join our team in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial sewing machines. This role is essential in ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the organisation.
Duties
Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on sewing machines to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in equipment functionality.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory.
Use power tools to repair and maintain.
Operate tools and machinery safely while adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Skills
Proficient in mechanical repair and maintenance with a solid understanding of sewing machines.
Ability to sew or perform basic fabric repairs is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
