Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess the skills necessary to create a safe, engaging, and playful environment for our children. This role is perfect for individuals who have experience in childcare or early childhood education and are eager to support the development of young minds.
Responsibilities
Supervise and engage with children in a safe and caring environment.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
Manage daily routines, including snack times, school pick ups and play activities.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and other staff members to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the childcare space, ensuring it is safe for all children.
Provide leadership by guiding children in their social interactions and helping them develop essential life skills.
Drive initiatives that encourage creativity, curiosity, and exploration among the children.
Requirements
Proven experience working with children in a childcare setting or nursery.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm demeanour.
Leadership qualities that inspire trust and respect from both children and parents.
A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development.
Flexibility to adapt to the varying needs of children throughout the day.
Must hold HNC / SVQ in Childcare or equivelant at level 7 or above.
BA childhood practice desirable
