Summary
Cadet Training Centre (CTC) Frimley Park seeks a dedicated and skilled Quartermaster (QM) to ensure statutory compliance and optimal support for the national cadet forces training delivery. The role plays a pivotal part in enhancing the lived experience and safety of the workforce and visiting students/personnel by overseeing various responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include:
The QM is responsible for the management, accounting and administration of all CTC materiel accounts (accommodation, ammunition, arms, technical and non technical stores)
Responsible to the Commanding Officer (CO) for all aspects of Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) and COSHH matters within the Cadet Training Centre. Lead on quarterly SHE meetings
Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the establishment, which includes the infrastructure and grounds. Overseeing all works services (routine, statutory and reactive)
Supervision of the Soft and Hard FM contract delivery (HESTIA). Attend Bimonthly Infrastructure Management meetings.
Provide supervision of all contractors on site and maintain close links with SE RFCA, Industry Partners, Lodger Units, HQ South East, Regional Command and Surrey Heath Council at the correct levels.
Responsible for the tasking, welfare and line management for military and civilian staff employed within the Quartermaster Department.
Fulfil the role of senior manager for Logistic MIS (MJDI, JAMES)
Conduct and coordinate timely managerial checks of all materiel accounts
Manage maintain and submit quarterly loss and other logistic returns
Act as the Radiation Protection Safety Officer
Act as the focal point for all external logistic stakeholders
Carry out additional tasks and advise on logistic related matters as required by the CO.
Unit lead for the following assurance and inspections:
Logistic Support Assurance and Inspection (LSA&I)
Land Equipment Assurance (LEA)
Force Health Protection Audit (FHPA)
Radiation equipment Audit.
