Quokka Education is looking for resilient, empathetic, and adaptable Teaching Assistants to join our partner primary, secondary, and SEN schools across North Hampshire, including Basingstoke, Farnborough, Hook, and Alton.

We provide full support, including free online CPD and experience days to help you confidently step into the classroom with confidence and enthusiasm.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support students in lessons - both 1:1 and in small groups
- Help pupils with SEND (including autism, ADHD, SEMH) to access learning and feel included
- Build strong, trusting relationships to boost student confidence and engagement
- Assist with emotional regulation, communication, and behaviour
- Work closely with teachers and SEN teams to create a safe, inclusive learning space
We're Looking For:
- Psychology graduates or final-year students with an interest in education or child development
- Individuals who are calm, patient, empathetic, and keen to learn
- Those passionate about mental health, education, and making a difference
What We Offer:
- Weekly pay - from £95 per day (via PAYE)
- DBS fee reimbursed once you're placed in a school
- Free CPD and training - including behaviour management and SEND support
- Long-term and permanent opportunities
- Pathways into salaried teacher training and other education careers

- Location: Basingstoke, Farnborough, Hook, Alton + surrounding areas
- Start Date: September 2025
- Contract: Temp-to-Perm
- Hours: 8:30am - 3:15pm, term time only
- Pay: From £95 per day (PAYE)
- Schedule: Full-time (Part-time options also available)
