TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ private day nursery based within Leeds LS11. The nursery cares for children aged 5 and under, with warm, calm and quiet areas set up for the children to settle into, as well as an outdoor area which provides the children with numerous different learning opportunities. Each child has their own key worker to support them as they settle into nursery routine and can care for any additional needs the child may have.
The nursery are currently searching for a Qualified Early Years Practitioner to join their growing team on a part-time basis. The ideal applicant will have previous experience working in an Early Years setting, and must hold either a Level 2 or Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or above. The successful Early Years Practitioner will be passionate about working with young children, and will have an excellent knowledge of the EYFS & the Early Years Curriculum.
The successful Early Years Practitioner will:
• Be eager to learn new skills and join a welcoming team
• Be able to create activities based around the children’s interests that help them learn new skills
• Be enthusiastic and passionate about helping young children learn and develop
