What skills and experience we're looking for
Ashdon Primary School, near Saffron Walden in north-west Essex, is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Office Administrator from 1st September 2025. The post will be for 26 hours a week over 4 days - Monday - Thursday, term time only. Salary to be paid on Scale 4 Point 7 £25,584 per annum, pro rata (£15,855 actual salary).
We are looking for someone who is:
• highly organised
• excellent at multi-tasking
• friendly, calm and efficient
• an excellent communicator both verbally and in writing
• a confident user of IT systems, especially Microsoft packages
• a team player but can work independently
• flexible and has a sense of humour

The closing date for applications is 31st May 2025
Interviews will take place the week beginning 9th June 2025
Although the start date for this post is 1st September, it would be very helpful if the successful applicant could spend some time at the school in the Summer term to enable a smooth handover with the current post holder.
