Summary
Berridge Primary School is a popular, diverse and inclusive school in inner-city Nottingham. The school is in the heart of the Hyson Green community and is well regarded by parents, staff and children. We value everyone’s achievements in a caring atmosphere which is central to everything we do as a school.
Pupils are polite, respectful and have a desire to learn. As a school, we place a strong emphasis on pastoral care, employing family support workers, a gardener and a learning mentor to support our children and families.
Berridge was judged as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in October 2024
“There is a culture of mutual respect between staff and pupils. When speaking with visitors, pupils are exceptionally polite. Pupils have high levels of self-motivation and are keen to do well. Staff rarely need to remind pupils of the school’s high expectations” OFSTED October 2024
