Technical Account Manager – Grantham | £30,000 - £40,000 | Full-Time

We’re working with a well-established and forward-thinking IT services provider in Grantham to recruit a Technical Account Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically experienced professional with a passion for client success and strategic relationship building.

Whether you’re an existing Account Manager with an IT background or a technical team lead looking for a new challenge, this role offers the chance to take ownership of client relationships while shaping their ongoing IT strategy and service delivery.

The Role:

As Technical Account Manager, you'll be the go-to contact for a dedicated portfolio of clients—ensuring their IT environments run smoothly, stay secure, and continue to evolve with their business needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the primary contact for all client communications and service-related matters.


  • Building trusted relationships and understanding clients’ technical and business objectives.


  • Liaising between clients and internal technical teams to ensure expectations are met or exceeded.


  • Conducting contract renewals, pricing negotiations, and presenting tailored solutions.


  • Creating and presenting project proposals and quotations in collaboration with the sales team.


  • Staying current with technology trends to offer strategic guidance.


  • Driving continuous improvement across client services and internal processes.


    About You:

    We're looking for someone who brings both technical expertise and exceptional interpersonal skills. You’ll be comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders and confident in managing accounts at both an operational and strategic level.

    You’ll need:

    • A Microsoft-based technical background (essential).


    • Strong communication and client engagement skills.


    • Proven experience managing accounts or leading IT teams.


    • Excellent commercial awareness and problem-solving skills.


    • Ability to influence stakeholders and manage expectations.


    • Organised, self-motivated, and confident working independently and as part of a wider team.


    • A strong interest in new and emerging technologies.
