Summary

We're looking for an experienced Contractor Host with electrical qualifications to join a dynamic team supporting a leading client site. In this pivotal role, you'll be the central point of coordination for specialist subcontractors, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with site standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinating daily activities of engineering subcontractors on site

  • Inducting and onboarding contractors to meet site and safety protocols

  • Planning and scheduling works to align with operational needs

  • Overseeing the permit to work process

  • Using your electrical expertise to review technical documentation and ensure safety

  • Monitoring quality, compliance, and progress of works

  • Acting as a key liaison between subcontractors, internal teams, and client representatives

  • Driving a proactive safety culture and ensuring GMP adherence

What We're Looking For:

  • Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds 2365, NVQ Level 3)

  • Proven technical experience in an engineering setting

  • Strong organisational and communication skills

  • Proactive, safety-focused, and detail-oriented mindset

  • Comfortable working with IT systems and managing documentation

Desirable:

  • Prior experience in subcontractor or permit to work coordination

  • Familiarity with GMP or regulated environments

  • NEBOSH or IOSH certification
