Summary
A Personal Support Assistant is required for a minimum 4-8 hours per week and occasional weekends to help a lady who has some mobility issues, to drive her in her own vehicle for grocery shopping, appointments, recreation, etc.
The lady requires the PA to be available one weekend per month to support with driving her car to take her to Solihull where she attends the Help the Heroes choir, travelling down Friday till Sunday early afternoon. Accommodation and breakfast are provided, you will be expected to provide your own meals the rest of the time, as the time is mainly your own whilst there. Travel there and back will be paid, as well as any help you are required for over this time away.
Please note that although the postcode is a York postcode the lady lives in Kirkbymoorside, ideally applicants should be from the local area due to the hours which are on a flexible basis and may not be required every week.
The rate of pay is £13.25 per hour
The successful applicant would be on a zero hours contract of employment, as the lady may not be well or able to attend activities/shopping.
The lady will require the support assistant to help her pack and unpack her groceries, sports equipment etc.
The applicant must be kind, patient and understanding.
