Impact Futures, The Childcare Company & FRFA are looking for an enthusiastic EPA and Learner Outcomes Manager to join our
fantastic Quality team.
This is a remote role with occasional travel required.
The Role:
The EPA and Learner Outcomes Manager is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the end-to-end management of
End-Point Assessments (EPA) and ensuring optimal learner outcomes across all programmes. This role ensures compliance with
regulatory bodies, drives continuous improvement, and builds a culture of excellence in assessment practices and learner
achievement.
Working across the organisation and with external bodies, the EPA and Outcomes Manager will plan and deliver key EPA functions,
will develop central reporting systems and will also support the Quality Managers with external quality assurance visits.
The role with involve:
- Develop and implement a strategic vision for EPA and learner outcomes aligned with organisational goals.
- Lead on the planning and delivery of EPA functions, ensuring timely and compliant assessment processes.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to inform policy development and strategic planning related to apprenticeships and
assessments.
- Oversee the coordination and administration of learner registrations and certifications with various Awarding Organisations.
- Ensure all EPA activities comply with the requirements of regulatory bodies such as Ofqual, ESFA, and relevant Awarding
Organisations.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to EPA and learner outcomes, implementing improvement plans as
necessary.
- Lead quality assurance processes for EPA, including internal audits, standardisation activities, and feedback mechanisms.
- Utilise data analytics to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement in learner achievement and assessment practices.
- Ensure continuous professional development (CPD) for staff involved in EPA and learner support functions.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, providing coaching and support to enhance team effectiveness.
- Act as the primary point of contact for EPA-related inquiries and issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.

About You:
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Assessor and Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) qualifications.
- Proven experience in managing EPA processes within an apprenticeship context
- Strong understanding of ESFA funding rules, Ofsted Education Inspection Framework, and awarding body requirements.
- Demonstrable experience in leading teams and driving performance improvements.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
- Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (or equivalent).
- Level 3 Management qualification (or willingness to work towards).
- Experience in curriculum development and quality assurance within the FE sector.
- Familiarity with digital e-portfolio systems and EPA platforms.
