Summary
Helena Biosciences is a leading and well established medical diagnostic company, with an international reputation comprising two flagship business divisions that specialise in the design, manufacture and support of Clinical Electrophoresis and Haemostasis systems. Due to growth and expansion, we are excited to have a range of new vacancies within the CE and EP Production departments.
PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN
Role Summary:
This position will be responsible for the production and packaging of kits and components manufactured by Helena Biosciences.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• To manufacture and package Electrophoresis (EP), Haemostasis (HS) and Capillary Electrophoresis (CE) kits and components ensuring that all work meets the expected quality standards.
• Any other reasonable requests based on workload throughout the factory.
• To work in accordance with Health and Safety and COSHH guidelines.
Key Skills Required:
• Ability to follow instructions and complete documentation to ISO13485 and GMP standards.
• Ability to set up production runs and produce consistent and reliable product from these processes.
• Utilise safety equipment where required.
• Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Able to work well within a team.
Education and/or Experience
No formal qualifications or experience are required for his role.
This vacancy is permanent, full time Monday to Friday (daytime hours) and based at our Sunderland Site.
