Summary
Measure, cut, and install insulation materials (e.g. mineral wool, foam, fibreglass) on surfaces including pipework, ducts, and structures.
Apply cladding or lagging (aluminium, stainless steel, or other suitable finishes) for mechanical protection.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Work in confined spaces and at height in line with health & safety procedures.
Ensure all work meets quality standards and project deadlines.
Coordinate with other trades to avoid clashes and optimise workflow.
Follow all shipyard safety protocols, including use of PPE and hazard awareness.
