Summary

Overview of role

The Regional Support Partner, also referred to as the Practice Coach, plays a pivotal role in driving and embedding best practice to deliver high-quality care and support across our services. Working alongside teams, they champion best practice, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and empower staff through coaching and development. This role is instrumental in maintaining a culture of excellence, ensuring people we support receive the highest standard of care.

This role is covering our London and East Anglia Regions

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Best Practice


Target areas for improvement across the region in liaison with operational colleagues and the Quality Team
Support Managers to identify barriers to good care and problem solve
Lead on embedding best practice across services, ensuring consistent, high-quality care delivery.
Conduct regular service visits to assess, review, and enhance practice in line with legislative and regulatory requirements (i.e. CQC, HSE etc).
Support managers and teams in implementing continuous quality improvements, identifying areas for development, and providing practical solutions.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory frameworks.
Act as a subject matter expert in care quality, staying up to date with industry developments and regulatory changes.
Staff Development & Coaching
Provide on-the-ground coaching, mentoring, and practical support to staff to enhance skills, knowledge, and confidence.
Deliver training sessions and reflective practice workshops to drive professional development.
Support the induction of new team members by embedding a culture of high standards from day one.
Work alongside managers to develop action plans for staff who require additional support to meet quality expectations.
Service Improvement & Innovation
Identify and implement innovative ways to improve care delivery and outcomes for the people we support.
Lead on quality improvement initiatives, ensuring sustainable changes that drive excellence.
Work with the Quality Analyst to gather and analyse service performance data to inform improvement strategies.
Provide detailed reports and recommendations to senior leadership to inform strategic decision-making.
Lead policy oversight for clinical activities for the organisation.
Ensuring safe practice through assessments in partnership with local community healthcare team.
Delivering specialist training and competency sign-offs.


Stakeholder Engagement


Work collaboratively with operational teams, managers, the Quality team and external stakeholders to ensure best practice is understood and applied.
Act as a role model for outstanding care and a champion for a person-centred approach.
Liaise with regulatory bodies, commissioners, and partner organisations to share best practice and drive service excellence.


Working Environment


Care Home based across the region being supported, with ad-hoc travel to other regions as required
Flexible working approach required.
