About this Role

Corpus Christi Catholic Academy Trust are keen to receive applications from prospective primary school teachers who are interested in being considered for teaching positions that may become available at one or more of the ten primary schools within our Trust. Applicants must have or already be studying towards Qualified Teacher Status which they will obtain by September 2025.

Following an initial interview and a positive reference from your current headteacher, successful candidates will be placed on a ‘Pool List’. At the interview you will be able to state a preference for which school(s) you would prefer to be considered for. A position may then be offered following a lesson observation and a meeting with the relevant headteacher in a school where a vacancy arises.

We are looking for teachers who are motivated and enthusiastic and are willing to support the future vision and development of our schools and the Trust.

The main duties of the role are:

• To promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people
• To contribute to the provision of high-quality teaching and learning to ensure successful outcomes for all
• To maintain and develop the Catholic ethos of the school
• To meet all teachers’ standards

The successful candidate will:

• Be someone with drive and enthusiasm who will inspire and motivate our pupils
• Be a highly motivated and creative individual who is committed to developing pupil potential and raising achievement
• Have a good understanding of the primary phase curriculum
• Be open to new ideas, committed to working as part of a team and of course have a good sense of humour
