Summary
Key Responsibilities Communication Establish and maintain communication with individuals and/or groups regarding difficult or complex matters, adapting communication appropriately as required. Development Develop own knowledge and skills and contribute to the development and learning of others. Health and Safety Promote best practice in health, safety and security. Service Development Contribute to the development of services with lead responsibility for some identified projects. Quality Contribute to Hospice at Home quality improvements with lead responsibility for some aspects/projects. Equality, Diversity and Rights Promote equality, diversity and rights of all. Assessment/Addressing Health and Wellbeing Needs Assess the needs of individuals often in complex and a constantly changing situations. Partnership Participate in partnership working with other individuals and groups. Leadership Lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas and work practice. Management of the Services - to effect the efficient running of the Day and Night Nursing, Befriending, complementary therapy and occupational therapy. Management of People Planning and allocating work, assessing performance and providing feedback to team members. Management of Physical and/or Financial Resources Maintain and support the efficient use of physical and/or financial resources. Safeguarding-to act as the deputy safeguarding lead for the organisation by leading the team in safeguarding patients and families that use our services and to create a safe culture and learning environment for staff to develop safeguarding knowledge and experience.
