King William Street CE Primary School is looking to employ a full-time teaching assistant. You will play a crucial role in shaping young minds under the expert guidance of our dedicated teachers. You'll assist in creating an inspiring and organised classroom environment, ensuring every student feels included and has the opportunity to excel. We would ideally like someone with experience of working as a teaching assistant and has some experience of supporting a child with Autism/ASC.
We are looking for someone who:
has experience of working in a primary school
is patient and understanding
has experience of supporting children with SEND particularly ASC/Autism
has the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues and parents
is able to use their initiative and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability
has a willingness to learn and take on new ideas
has good team-working capacity

The hours of work will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:25am-3:30pm, and Friday 8:25am-1:45pm. This will be term time plus training days.
